MOUVEMENT I HOMMAGE À DENISE RENÉ

The Bonisson Art Center is currently presenting the exhibition “Mouvement I Hommage à Denise René”, a tribute to the parisian iconic gallery owner and long-time friend of Cruz-Diez, and her 1955 exhibition “Le Mouvement”.
During his first trip to Europe in 1955, Cruz-Diez visited this historical exhibition highlighting for the first time the young Kinetic art movement. In 1964, Cruz-Diez was featured in “Le Mouvement 2”, and then started a lifetime collaboration with Denise René.
The Bonisson Art Center displays two Cruz-Diez artworks: Physichromie 1879 (2013) and Induction du Jaune Beatriz B (2010).
