Eye Attack: Op Art and Kinetic Art 1950–1970 delves into the history of the Op Art and Kinetic Art movements of the mid-20th century. Published in conjunction with the eponymous exhibition at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Denmark, the book examines the works of Cruz-Diez, Vasarely, Soto, and other key artists.

Through its pages, Eye Attack illuminates the historical and cultural context in which these movements emerged. It explores how technological, scientific, and psychological advancements influenced these art forms, while also analyzing their impact on popular culture and design in the 1960s.

With respect to art, we have transformed passive contemplation into a participatory attitude and works of art into autonomous facts, constantly changing through time and space. For the first time in history, we have succeeded in making time and space the real foundation of artistic invention.
