From Summer 2023 onwards, numerous institutions are joining forces with the Cruz-Diez family, studios and Foundation to celebrate the centenary of the last thinker of color in the twentieth century.

FROM AUGUST 2023 ● TOURING WORLDWIDE
RGB, the colors of the century
Conceived by Cruz-Diez in 2014, the compact exhibition “RGB: The Colors of the century” will be touring worldwide on the occasion of the centenary of the artist, in partnership with the Centre Pompidou and the Musée national d’art moderne.

Important archives from the Cruz-Diez documentation center have been published on the ICAA - the International Center for the Arts of the Americas of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston - Document Project of this year.

Carlos Cruz-Diez, El color en dos tiempos | Galería de Arte Nacional
The Galería de Arte Nacional will host a comprehensive exhibition of Cruz-Diez œuvre, featuring artworks from the collection of the Fundación Museos Nacionales in Venezuela.

The Coral Gables Museum will display “Masters that changed the city: a tribute to the centennial of Jesús Rafael Soto and Carlos Cruz-Diez”, celebrating 100 years of creation and friendship.

Reflection on Color, new edition | Yale University Press
The Cruz-Diez documentation center and the Cruz-Diez Foundation joined forces with Yale University Press to make a new edition of Cruz-Diez emblematic essay Reflection on Color available to the English speaking readers.
