On the occasion of the centenary of the birth of Carlos Cruz-Diez, the teams of the Cruz-Diez studios and Cruz-Diez Foundation, with the collaboration and support of the artist’s family, are proud to present a video made with never-before-seen archives of the artist.

With small hand drawings, and his well known joy and playfulness, Cruz-Diez shares about his youth & the path that led him to his lifelong research through color and light.

A journey that left a deep mark on the history of contemporary art. This project, initiated by his granddaughter Fabiana and his late son Jorge, gives us a glimpse into a little-known part of his life story.
